No driving licence is needed, but the size requirements are firm and worth checking before booking. Junior karts take drivers from age 8 who are at least 1.2 metres tall with an inside leg of 25 inches or more, measured from the crotch to the base of the heel while wearing shoes. Adult karts require a minimum age of 13, a height of at least 1.5 metres and an inside leg of 29 inches. There is no absolute maximum, though the venue suggests roughly 6ft 4in and 18 stone as the point at which a kart may become uncomfortable, and offers a kart test at the track for anyone unsure. Children under 16 must be accompanied throughout by an adult aged 18 or over, and cannot be left unattended while that adult is on track. Karting is physically demanding, and the venue asks drivers with heart conditions or other conditions aggravated by exertion to check before booking.

Edmonton runs an 800-metre multi-level circuit with nine corners, long straights and a top speed of 45mph in the adult karts. The layout combines fast open sections with tighter technical stretches and elevation change, which gives newer drivers room to build pace and experienced ones somewhere to find lap time. Junior karts are limited to 25mph. The adult fleet is petrol, built on Biz Evo3 chassis with a Honda GX200RH engine, belt drive and flip-over adjustable pedals — a different feel, and a different noise, from the electric fleets several other London tracks now run.

The Ultimate Race Experience is the standard format, open from age 8, with two sessions on the main track and a pit lane start where the fastest lap wins. Grand Prix is the competitive format: 16 and over, a minimum of six drivers, a qualifying session followed by a grid start and a podium presentation. Drive and Putt runs two to three hours and pairs two karting sessions with a round of unlimited mini golf. Podium presentations can be upgraded at the time of booking with medals, trophies or caps. Sessions can sometimes be extended on the day for a small charge, subject to availability.

The site also houses Putt Club, a motorsport-themed indoor mini golf course of nine holes with racing-inspired obstacles. Play is unlimited within a session, so groups can replay holes or go round more than once; a single round takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes. Club, ball and scorecard are provided. Mini golf is open to a younger age group than karting, from age 5, which makes it the part of the venue that works for families with children too small to race. Booked sessions take up to 12 guests, and larger groups are asked to contact the venue directly.

Children's go-karting birthday parties are aimed at ages 8 to 12, with race sessions followed by food. Mini golf parties run two packages, both including unlimited golf and a branded ball for each player, with a return voucher for the birthday child and a visor for each player on the higher tier. Corporate packages cover team-building days, work socials and client events, and stag and hen groups are catered for. Group and event bookings are arranged through the venue's enquiry form rather than the standard booking journey. Buffet menus are available for groups of eight or more.

Trainers are ideal. Shoes must cover the whole foot, so sandals, open-toed shoes, Crocs, heels and wedges are not permitted, on the track or on the mini golf course. Clothing should be comfortable and not brand new. A race suit, helmet and gloves are provided; gloves are mandatory on track and communal pairs are free to borrow and disinfected after each use. Every driver also needs a balaclava, which can be bought at the venue for £3.99 or brought from home. Long hair must be tied and tucked away under a longer-length balaclava, and jewellery, scarves, sashes and headwear are removed before racing. The venue asks drivers to know their helmet size on arrival, as helmets cannot be tried on for fit. 

Drivers are asked to arrive 40 minutes before their drive time to check in, collect kit and take the safety briefing. Most racing events last no more than two hours from arrival to finish. The venue is entirely cashless — card only, for racing, food and merchandise alike. Bookings are paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable unless Flexi-book was added at the point of purchase. A £1 per driver insurance surcharge is included in every booking. Pre-booking is strongly recommended: the venue advises that capacity fills quickly, particularly at weekends. 

The venue describes itself as partially accessible for wheelchair users. Disabled parking is available close to the entrance, and access is available on the lower level, including the spectator viewing areas. The upper level and the bar area are not wheelchair accessible. The venue states that it does not currently have facilities in place for hearing impairments, and asks anyone with hearing difficulties to make contact before racing, because watching the safety briefing is mandatory. Carers may be able to get a reduced weekday rate, which cannot be booked online and has to be arranged by phone. 

Spectating is free and needs no booking. Anyone of any age is welcome to watch from the dedicated viewing areas and the bar, and children under 16 must be with an adult aged 18 or over. The on-site bar and kitchen serves burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, paninis and light bites, with waffles and sweet treats, alongside soft drinks, shakes and a licensed range of beers, ciders, spirits and cocktails. Alcohol may only be consumed after racing, and anyone who looks under 25 will be asked for proof of age. Outside food is not permitted, though birthday cakes are welcome for groups celebrating at the venue.

The venue sits just off the North Circular, the A406, on Nobel Road in Edmonton. Free parking is available on site. By bus, the 192 stops at Angel Road, about a ten-minute walk away. By rail, Meridian Water, Silver Street and Edmonton Green are each around a 30-minute walk, and the venue suggests Meridian Water for anyone travelling from central London via Tottenham Hale.
