Omescape VR Southbank is the operator's second London site, built inside a railway arch on Scoresby Street in Southwark, two minutes from Southwark station. The arch setting gives the venue a different character from the Aldgate site — lower ceilings, exposed brickwork and the particular atmosphere that comes with a vaulted railway structure. Like Aldgate, everything runs on wireless free-roam VR: there are no physical sets, no props and no padlocks. Players wear wireless headsets and haptic vests and move through virtual space on foot alongside the rest of their group.

Omescape VR Southbank states that its escape rooms are wheelchair accessible, and specifically names this as the site to book if anyone in a group uses a wheelchair — directing visitors away from Aldgate, which is not accessible. This is stated on both the Southbank location page and in a dedicated FAQ answer. Visitors with other access requirements, including those with seizure or vertigo sensitivities (which the operator flags for some games), are advised to contact the venue before booking.

Escape rooms and shooting games at this site are open to players aged 11 and over. The site also runs two mixed-game packages, Hero Zone and Vex Play, which admit younger children; however, the operator publishes conflicting minimum ages for these across different pages (6, 7 and 8 on various pages for the younger formats), so anyone booking for a child under 11 should confirm the age limit with the venue directly. Family packages are sold for one to three adults with up to four children, with a maximum child age of 13.

Free-roam means players physically walk, run and dodge around a tracked arena rather than standing still and using a joystick. There are no cables or backpacks. Because the body's real movements match what the eyes see inside the headset, motion sickness is unlikely — the usual cause is the mismatch between visual and physical motion that seated VR creates. Players can see and reach each other inside the virtual space, so groups genuinely play together.

The Southbank page names Jumpers, Corsair's Curse and Huxley 2 among its VR escape rooms, and Rotten Apple, Plush Rush and Vex Play among its shooting and mixed-game titles. The operator states that both London sites carry the same games overall; the Southbank page appears to name a slightly different selection from Aldgate's examples, which may reflect what was most popular at the time the page was written rather than a structural difference in the game library. Shooting games run 30 to 40 minutes, escape rooms 40 to 50 minutes, and Hero Zone or Vex Play sessions 40 minutes. Each is preceded by a ten-minute briefing. Groups wanting longer can book back-to-back sessions in the same or a different experience; the venue says it may discount multiple bookings made for the same day.

Standalone escape rooms and shooting games take 2 to 12 players, in up to three teams of four. Hero Zone and Vex Play take 2 to 18, in up to three teams of six. A pair booking a standalone game will be paired with another pair to make four, so a group wanting the session to itself needs to book at least three players — or five or more for Hero Zone and Vex Play.

The venue takes team-building days, work socials, stag and hen groups, birthday parties and family bookings. Its central Southwark location — two minutes from Southwark tube and ten from Waterloo — makes it an easy evening venue, though the Southbank page notes that dynamic opening hours mean evening slots should be confirmed by phone before booking. Prices are not published; the venue asks groups to enquire directly.

Booking is online. Players are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the session to check in and meet their game master. A booking secures a date, time, group size and experience category — the specific game can be chosen at checkout, left open until arrival, or changed later. There is a ten-minute grace period for late arrivals, after which a session may be shortened or rescheduled for a fee.

Southwark station on the Jubilee Line is a two-minute walk. Waterloo — served by the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Northern and Waterloo & City lines — is ten to fifteen minutes on foot. Bus routes 40, 63, N63 and N89 stop nearby at Southwark College. Drivers should note that on-street parking outside the venue is permit-holder only, though disabled bays are available. The nearest public car park is on Great Suffolk Street, roughly four minutes on foot. The venue is inside the London Congestion Charge zone.
