Gravity MAX Wandsworth

Details to know:

About Gravity MAX Wandsworth

Gravity MAX Wandsworth sits inside the Southside Shopping Centre on Wandsworth High Street, packing thirteen separate activities into a single indoor site. It is one of four Gravity MAX venues in the UK and the operator’s South London base. The mix leans towards variety rather than depth in any one activity, which makes it a practical option for mixed groups where nobody agrees on a single thing to do, and a reliable fallback when the weather rules out anything outdoors.

Indoor Karting

Electric karting runs on an indoor circuit at £15.25 per person, with a booking fee added online. It is the venue’s headline activity and the one most likely to sell out at weekends. Gravity publishes age and height requirements for karting through its safety agreement rather than on the activity page itself, so anyone booking for children should check the requirements before travelling. A safety agreement must be completed before racing.

Ten Pin Bowling

Bowling costs £10.99 per person and uses an augmented reality system Gravity calls AR Sparks, which layers projected graphics and game modes over the standard lane. It works for families, groups and evening visits alike, and can be built into a party booking.

Other Activities

Beyond karting and bowling, the Wandsworth site runs Pixel Hyperfloor at £11.50, AR Digital Darts at £11.25, Urban Street Golf at £12.25, the Hologate VR Arena and Hologate Tower-Tag at £10.99 each, Shuffleboard at £23.25 for thirty minutes of exclusive use, Howzat Batting Cages from £12, Beer Pong at £25 for an hour including a pitcher of beer, and Gravity Arcade, where a £20 player card comes with bonus credits. Two further attractions, Immersive Gamebox from £13 and Sandbox VR from £25, operate inside the venue but are booked through their own separate websites rather than through Gravity.

Passes and Bundles

Several combination tickets reduce the per-activity cost for anyone planning to do more than one thing. The MAX3 Pass covers three activities for £28.50. The Wednesday Play Pass is £16.95 per person. The MAX Family Pass starts at £38. A seasonal Summer of Fun programme runs from £9.95. All are cheaper than booking the same activities separately, and all attract an online booking fee.

Food and Drink

There are two bars on site. Gravity Social Bar is the main space, and Newton’s Sports Bar screens sport and publishes its own drinks menu. The venue presents itself as a dining as well as a drinking destination, though it does not publish a food menu online, so anyone with specific dietary requirements would be better calling ahead than relying on the website.

Groups, Parties and Corporate

Wandsworth takes birthday party, group booking, corporate event and schools enquiries through a single enquiry form, with an Ultimate MAX Party package promoted for adult groups. Pricing for group and party bookings is not published — every enquiry is quoted individually. A student discount and a Blue Light discount are both available on online bookings.

Planning Your Visit

Every activity is bookable and payable online, and each online booking carries an additional fee. A safety agreement must be completed before taking part in the more physical activities, and it is quicker to do this in advance than on arrival. Opening hours shift during school holidays, when the venue opens an hour earlier on weekdays. Gift vouchers start at £25 and can be bought online. Because Immersive Gamebox and Sandbox VR are booked separately, anyone wanting to include them should reserve those slots on their own sites alongside the Gravity booking.
